1993 White House Historical Association Ornament MIB

The White House Historical Association presented for its 1993 Christmas ornament, a reproduction of the portrait of Julia Gardiner Tyler, which has been hanging in the White House for more than a century.  

She was the seond wife of John Tyler, tenth President of the United States (1841-1845).  Her marriage to the widower President captivated the public in the 1840's, turning attention away from the administration's political woes.

Condition:  This ornament is in its original gold box, with all associated papers.
