As a salute to those men of vision who sailed to the far horizons of the earth, and beyond, Bing & Grondahl launched their Explorer Series in 1978. This is the premier Edition - the SANTA MARIA mug, characterized by the subtle shades of Bing & Grondahl blue. Emblazoned in 24k gold is a silhouette of "The Santa Maria," honoring Christopher Columbus' expedition to discover America and "the new world."

Dimensions: The mug measures 5" high and holds 1 pint.

Marks/Dates: 1978. Stamped and marked on the bottom of the mug in gold.

Condition: Mint in its original box.
