Korean War Souvenir Fringed "Memory of Korea" Wall Hanging

This beautiful, hand screened velvet wall hanging was probably mailed or brought back from Korea by a US soldier during the Korean War. Entitled "Memory of Korea" it features a map of South Korea, and 4 images of Korean life in the corners. The hanging has gold fringe around the rim, and the back is orange silk.
Dimensions: Measures 17" square (excluding fringe).
Marks/Dates: There are no marks, just the title at the top, and the map locations.
Condition: Very good. Wall hanging had been folded and the images have not faded, though it will need to be steamed to remove the creases. One square on the satin side shows a bit of fading - it was probably the side that faced up.
