TILSO Vintage Asian Man & Woman Ceramic Bookends Japan

This charming set of ceramic bookends features an Asian woman in a pink kimono with raised white spatter, beneath a leafy green tree. The man on the matching bookend is similarly attired, with a large, conical hat. Both are hand painted.
Dimensions: They each measure 3 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 5 1/4" high.
Dates/Marks: 1950's/1960's. TILSO was an importing company in operation from the 1930's until 1976. Foil tag on each.
Condition: No cracks or chips. Some light crazing on the plain side (with the labels) but none on the figures.
