This splendid brooch is actually a shard of pottery from a piece of a Chinese vase, bowl or dish that was purposely broken during the Cultural Revolution in the early 1960's. The original object was made during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The broken pottery is cut and edged with a silver/nickel banding. Comes on its original card with description.

Dimensions: The pin measures 2" x 1 1/4".

Condition: New on card.
