Cute Vintage Skunk Salt and Pepper

This is a cute salt and pepper pair of Blue eyed Skunks. They are identical and both have two holes. The stoppers are cork. They measure 3" tall and are a shade over 3 1/2" Long from paw to tail.
There is some blurred marking on the bottom, but it is totally illegible. I believe these were probably produced in the 50's perhaps as early as the late 40's or as late as the early 60's. I suspect they were made in Japan.
The condition is excellent. No chips, cracks or nicks. No crazing and normal wear to the base. I have not tried to remove the stoppers.
