Dept 56 Dickens Village "Bumpstead Nye Cloaks & Canes" #5808-4 with Box

Bumpstead Nye Cloaks and Canes is a tall narrow shop with timbered 2nd story.  The front gable has design etched into the trim.  The shop was noted for cloaks and capes, as well as canes and walking sticks.

This was one of the 3 "Pump Lane Shops."  The other two are Lomas Ltd. Molasses and W.M. Wheat Cakes & Puddings.  Sold separately.


Marks/Dates c. 1993.   Retired in 1996. #5808-4.

Condition: Building is in its original Styrofoam packaging, with cardboard sleeve.  It was displayed for a few Christmas seasons, and has been stored for several years.
