Description: For sale is a Santa ornament from The Memories of Santa Collection. This Santa is year 1880, St. Nicholas carrying a bucket of ashes for bad boys and girls known as "Ashencols" in Germany at the time. The sticker on the bottom of the ornament shows 1985.From the package insert:
The Memories of Santa Collection are authentic reproductions from antique chocolate molds, early chromo-lithographs and turn of the century post cards. These beautiful replicas depict the evolution of Santa Claus from the early St. Nicholas of 1850 to the Santa we know today.

Condition: Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The original box is included which has the store sales sticker on it from Carl's Department Store. The insert has been folded but is not torn.
