1988 Fenton Glass Topaz Opalescent Butterfly #5171 TO
This Fenton glass topaz butterfly on a domed stand has a design on his opalescent tinged wings, as well as a floral pattern on the base. His "vaseline glass" color glows bright green under a black light. This was part of the Frank Fenton's Collector's Extravaganza of Limited Production Vaseline Opalescent Rarities, in the 1980's. Some collectors consider this a ring holder, and it would certainly fit the bill! Dimensions: Measures approximately 4 1/2" high. Marks/Dates: May-December, 1988. Fenton logo beneath the wing.
