Royal Doulton 1948 The Don Sandeman Figural Decanter

Royal Doulton crafted this mysterious-looking stranger in a black cape, called "The Don," for Sandeman Distilleries for their famous sherry.
Dimensions: 10 1/4" tall x 4" wide (base)
Marks/Dates: 1948. Has the Royal Doulton stamp on the bottom. There was originally a Sandeman foil label on the back of the cape but it has been removed.
Condition: No cracks or chips in the porcelain. When the Sandeman label was peeled from the back, it took a few small black paint chips with it. The bottle cap, which was the top of the Don's hat, is missing, though the cork is present. We've adjusted the starting price accordingly.
