In 1957, Baston traveled to Jamestown, Virginia, site of the first permanent English settlement in America in 1607. After his visit, he created four commemorative pieces - the glassblower was one. The glassblower is considered "very collectible" today.

Sebastian Miniatures was started in Massachusetts in 1945, by Prescott W. Baston. Their hand-cast and hand-painted pieces are prized by Sebastian Miniature collectors.

Dates/Marks: 1976. Side of base reads, "copr 1957 P.W. Baston." The original Sebastian (Hudson) sticker is on the base. #277B.

Condition: No cracks, chips or other damage. Displayed in a glass cabinet.
