Sebastian Miniatures Collectors Society DAME VAN WINKLE SML-144A
Sebastian Miniatures was started in Massachusetts in 1945, by Prescott W. Baston. Their hand-cast and hand-painted pieces are prized by Sebastian Miniature collectors. Dates/Marks: #SML-144A - Introduced in 1981 with a production of 11,127 made, and discontinued in 1983 (mold destroyed). The top of the base reads "Dame Van Winkle," and the side is inscribed "Sebastian Collectors Society" and "copr 1981 P.W. Baston." Hand signed in pencil on the bottom, along with an orange Hudson sticker. Condition: No chips or cracks. Paint has faded on the arms of her dress. Displayed in a glass cabinet.
