Here is a wonderful representative of early American history - Pilgrims John Alden standing with hat over his heart, and Priscilla Alden sitting at her spinning wheel. These figurines were made at the Marblehead location.
Sebastian Miniatures was started in Massachusetts in 1945, by Prescott W. Baston. Their hand-cast and hand-painted pieces are prized by Sebastian Miniature collectors.
Dimensions: John Alden stands 3" tall, and Priscilla measures 2 1/4" high.
Marks/Dates: Both 1946-1958. Second release of the figures, with their names inscribed on the base. No stickers on the bottom.
Condition: No chips or cracks. Some paint loss on the spinning wheel.
