This is the third in the series "Men who Made America." It is the figure of a lumberjack dressed in a red shirt with suspenders, a navy blue wool cap, and lace-up boots.
Sebastian Miniatures was started in Massachusetts in 1945, by Prescott W. Baston. Their hand-cast and hand-painted pieces are prized by Sebastian Miniature collectors.
Dates/Marks: 1982. #SML-396 - Production of 2,185. Retired in 1988. Side of base reads, "copr 1982 P.W. Baston." Hand signed in pencil on the bottom.
Condition: No cracks, chips or other damage. Displayed in a glass cabinet.
