Originally intended as a music box, Mary Had a Little Lamb was one of 3 round Nursery Rhyme themed figurines. It features Mary and her lamb going to her red schoolhouse to meet the teacher.

Sebastian Miniatures was started in Massachusetts in 1945, by Prescott W. Baston. Their hand-cast and hand-painted pieces are prized by Sebastian Miniature collectors.

Dates/Marks: 1982. #SML-137A - (1976-1991. The nursery rhyme is inscribed around the base. There are some initials carved into the bottom of the base, along with the blue Hudson sticker.

Condition: No cracks or chips. Displayed in a glass cabinet.
