Produced in 1993 only for members of the Collectors Club, this Elephant brooch was the second piece of jewelry produced by Swarovski for this purpose. It will never be duplicated by Swarovski and is truly a limited edition. It was available only by ordering it through the Swarovski dealers. It is retired. It originally retailed for $85.
It features a gold toned elephant, trunk raised for luck of course, with a single crystal stone for an eye. The tree is covered with pave Swarovski rhinestones or crystals that follow the rounded trunk and branches of the tree.
All the stones were hand set and it is marked with the Swarovski Swan logo on the back. It is not new and I do not have the box or certificate that originally came with it. It is style CCP2.
It measures 2 3/4" tall and is about 1 1/2" wide at the top of the tree branches. It is in excellent condition. The stones are all present. The clasp is in excellent working condition and the pin is straight with no bending/ There is no scratching on this piece and there is no wear.
