This vintage, oval jewelry casket has a swag of gold roses around the diamond quilted sides with an antique gold finish, and 4 scrolled toes. The lid has gold roses on an ivory leather background. The inside is lined in red velvet.
Dimensions: Measures 4" x 3" x 2 1/2" high.
Marks/Dates: Box is stamped "Japan," on the edge. We would be guessing at a 1950's/early 1960's vintage.
Condition: We could find no damage, although there are a few spots where the gold appears to have tarnished. We did not attempt to clean it as we didn't want to risk spotting the leather.
